All personnel will, at all times, fully observe the corporation’s health and safety rules that are in force at the particular facility to which he or she is responsible.
The following points are always checked: Health; Personal Documents (service discharge papers, passports etc); Employment details for previous ten years where applicable; All periods of unemployment.
Our security officers are carefully screened prior to employment and are, upon appointment, given a thorough specialist training in all aspects of security and client relationship.
Most of the people concerned have a background in either the services or the police, where they will have acquired qualities of self-discipline and responsibility.
We always attach great importance to their appearance and their manner as these are vital constituents of the image presented by our clients to customers, visitors, staff and the general public. Our officers are at all times presentable, cheerful, courteous and demonstrate an intelligent approach to their work.
At the same time, they are unobtrusive, except in circumstances where they are required to take an initiative related to a security consideration.
Our supervisors are experienced in all aspects of security and have demonstrated skills in man management. As a final rule, they must have a track record of at least three years successful operation in the mainstream of the security industry, including contract work akin to that undertaken by Hawkeye Security.
They are personally selected on the basis of their demonstrated achievement of high standards and their ability to motivate and lead.
Communication skills with officers in their charge, and client company representatives are also an important factor in the selection process.
We provide an appropriately qualified security manager who will take specific responsibility for general management of the security services provided.
The individual concerned will act as our liaison agent with the client and attend regular site meetings as required by the clients’ nominated representatives.
